I am a 24 year old female recovering from an eating disorder that started on a small scale before I was able to talk and expanded until it took over my whole life. I do not know life without ed. Anorexia and bulimia. At 5'6 &1/2 my weight has gone from the 120's to 190lbs and back again, over and over and over. My eating disorder takes on different forms from over exercising, abusing laxatives, abusing drugs and alcohol, binging and purging, just binging, just purging, fasting, keeping calories from 0-300 a day, etcetc. I've been in recovery for three years. From individual therapists of all kinds specializing in different areas (eating disorders, addiction, depression, etc), to intensive outpatient hospital program. I am also recovering from generalized anxiety disorder, minor ocd, major depression, drug and alcohol abuse, manic episodes, self harm,etc.
This journal is a track record for me as I start a new work out routine for the first time in years. I am finally allowed to work out and I feel confident that I can do this the healthy way and keep it under control. I may also comment about what I have consumed. I am basing my work out routines on this amazing website (http://www.strength-training-woman.com/strength-training-exercises.html).
I will track weight, measurements, food, work outs, struggles, frustrations, prob post pictures, etc.
I will be healthy. I will beat this bitch that's lived with me my whole life.
